Inspirations is a free app. It doesn't serve ads, nor require any subscription fees. No data is collected from your use of this app.

Please be sure to read this whole page; visit Inspirations for updates and more details.

Initially you will need to create a passcode (it is not visible in the Passwords app). All files managed by the app will be encrypted with the passcode and if you lose the passcode, you lose access to those files.

To create the passcode on first launch, tap Tap To Set Passcode.

After you set a passcode, click Tap to Open to continue.

You can create folders either locally in device storage or on iCloud-synced storage to allow other devices running the app, and logged into the same Apple Account, to have access to these files.

Inspirations lets you import PDFs, image files (and other quick-look files) and photos from your Photos Library.

Some additional files type may be available to view in-app view Apple's Quick Look framework; for those file types, a temporary decrypted file is created. Temporary files are deleted when the preview is dismissed.

You can also take a photo directly within the app; these photos will never appear in your Photo Library and are only accessible via the Inspirations app.

Note: the Inspirations app will push you to the main screen and lock file access when placed into the background (switch to another app), you lock your phone, etc. Some system permission dialogs cause this behavior as well.

On a Mac, this requires minimizing the app into the dock.
